This is one of the world’s busiest borders and the second largest volume of any U.S. border.

Juarez is also one of North America’s fastest growing communities, in recent years adding up to 8% growth annually.  Currently, Ciudad Juarez is a community of 1,500,000, dwarfing the El Paso community to the north (835,000).   

The international region boasts the third largest population along the U.S.-Mexico border, with over 2,500,000 inhabitants.

There are more than 300 maquiladoras currently operating in Juarez and the city is converting open space to industrial at the fastest rate in North America. 

Large conglomerates such as Bosch, Lexmark, Lear, Boeing and Johnson Controls have plants in Juarez.
